About Us
Putting People Before Political Convenience
At Progressive Southern Voters Association, our heart is with the people. We care deeply about the future of our families, our businesses, our schools, our economy, and our communities. As a federally registered political action committee serving Florida and the broader Southern region, we were built on one simple belief: the people deserve the right person in the right seat—not simply the person of convenience.
We believe leadership should be rooted in integrity, accountability, compassion, and a true commitment to public service. We support leaders who listen to the people, stand for what is right, and work to strengthen the communities they have been called to serve.
What We Believe
Integrity Matters
Public office is a position of trust. We believe leaders should serve with honesty, transparency, accountability, and respect for the people who placed them there.
People Come First
Every neighborhood matters. Every family matters. Every voter matters. We support leadership that stays connected to the people not only during election season, but long after Election Day.
A Strong Economy Builds Strong Communities
Families thrive when there is opportunity. We believe in responsible economic growth, job creation, entrepreneurship, and policies that help everyday people build stable and successful lives.
Businesses Help Communities Grow
Small businesses are the backbone of many Southern communities. We support an environment where responsible businesses can grow, create jobs, and help neighborhoods prosper.
Families Are the Foundation
Strong families help build strong communities. We care about safe neighborhoods, economic stability, and real opportunities that help parents, children, seniors, and caregivers succeed.
Education Opens Doors
Education should prepare people for opportunity, leadership, careers, the trades, entrepreneurship, and life. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
The Right Person for the Seat
We do not support candidates simply because they are convenient, connected, or expected. We look at character, qualifications, judgment, community involvement, and the ability to serve effectively. We want to see the right person in the seat—someone who will truly work for the people.
Beyond Election Day
Our work is bigger than campaigns. We believe in voter education, civic engagement, community awareness, and helping people understand how public decisions affect their daily lives. We believe strong communities are built by informed, engaged citizens.
